Kortekaas has put on a spectacular performance in this Škoda Titan Desert Almeria, winning all the stages and thereby securing her victory in this edition of the only Titan race on European soil, reaffirming her victory in the Titan World Series events after winning the last Škoda Titan Desert Morocco.

The second-place finisher in the stage is Pilar Fernández, and Ariadna Ródenas takes the third spot. Both join Kortekaas on the podium in the general classification, with Ariadna on the second step and Pilar on the third.

The victory belongs to Cannondale Vas Arabay. Miguel Muñoz takes the stage, which crowns Francisco Herrero as the winner of this Škoda Titan Desert Almeria, entering the pantheon of Titan World Series winners, thus shaking off the bad luck that had plagued the Segovian rider in the last editions of Škoda Titan Desert Morocco, where he narrowly missed the coveted winner’s trophy.

Herrero completes four days where he has shown tremendous strength, having worn the leader’s jersey since the first stage, and no one has been able to snatch the red jersey that identifies the strongest cyclist in the race from him.

As the first women pass the 62nd kilometer mark, Tessa continues to assert her dominance, holding a lead of more than 2 minutes over Pilar Fernández, who has steadily improved throughout this Škoda Titan Desert Almeria and appears to be the best among mortals.

Behind them, Ariadna Ródenas rides confidently, managing the gap with Pilar to secure her second place in the general classification.

The group has reduced to 7 riders, including Guerrero, Faus, Marzá, Luis León, Herrero, Muñoz, and Maté, leading the race as they pass the 62nd kilometer, with a 30-second gap to the chasing group.

The final kilometers within the military base lie ahead, followed by the last rambla of this Škoda Titan Desert Almeria, a favorable terrain to create gaps and thus shape the outcome of the final day of the race.

A large peloton consisting of 12 riders, including the main favorites, is riding at a speed of over 33 kilometers per hour.

The women’s leader, Tessa Kortekaas, is practically glued to this peloton, holding a lead of over 2 minutes over the second-placed rider in the general classification, Ariadna Ródenas.

With everything still to be decided in the men’s category and an insurmountable lead in the women’s category, the fourth stage begins, taking the titans from Tabernas to El Toyo, passing through a unique place, the Álvarez de Sotomayor Military Base.

The titans have ahead of them 83 kilometers and over 900 meters of positive elevation gain, after which they will achieve the goal of becoming true titans.
