16 de May de 2024

Peter Sagan will compete in thekoda Titan Desert Almería 2024.

The Slovak rider, one of the most successful and beloved riders in the history of the World Tour peloton, will face for the first time a mountain bike stage race. He will do it between October the 5th and the 8th, riding through incredible landscapes: Cabo de Gata, Tabernas desert or Alto de Velefique, among others.

Three-time road World Champion, Junior MTB World Champion, winner of 12 stages in the Tour de France and seven times green jersey in the Grande Boucle (record in the history of the race) and winner of major monuments such as the Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix. Sagan’s track record is unrepeatable.

‘Peto’ debuts in Titan World Series races and does so in the Škoda Titan Desert Almería: four stages, more than 350 kilometers and 6,000 meters of cumulative positive altitude gain.

It is a unique opportunity for all the Titans to ride with one of the biggest stars in recent cycling history.

This is something that Sagan highlights: “The Škoda Titan Desert Almería is an opportunity for me to try new adventures and, most importantly, to do it surrounded by all those fans who have supported me and continue to do so for so many years”.

Sagan is the latest addition to the already large roster of professional riders who have worn the Almería race bib, such as Miguel Induráin, Joaquim “Purito” Rodríguez or Luis León Sánchez and Luis León Sánchez, among others.
